OFFENDER: DR. AILEEN KIMBLER
VIOLATION: NAGGING & BEING SEELIE
▪▪▪▪▪▫▫▫▫▫ |
Artemis is going to be stuck in a state of unsurety about Aileen for a while, even as he warms up to her. Unsure not just because she's the only other fey present, but because she's Seelie, and his opinion about Seelie in general isn't the greatest. Part of this is based on what he's been taught, part of it is based on personal experience, though the latter is somewhat limited. Regardless, he generally views Seelie as incredibly self-righteous and hypocritical, with a penchant for passing (sometimes diserved, sometimes undeserved) judgement upon Unseelie like himself. Her declared pacifism and disapproval of a lot of his actions just furthers his belief that she falls into that same category as other Seelie, which just makes him concerned that she is somehow going to stab him in the back and declare that it's for the "greater good" or something.
Additionally, he's pretty uncomfortable with how much she knows about him just by being Unseelie Sidhe. Now that he has started to realize that the general population of Exsilium legitimately has no idea what he is, but at the same time isn't going to freak out over the fact that he's not human, he finds it very liberating, since he doesn't have to constantly be paranoid about the expectations that are being placed upon him (even if a lot of the habits that come with that paranoia are going to take time to break).
However, Aileen's willingness to heal him made him a bit less mistrustful of her. On some level he feels a kinship with her for being fey, even if being fey is the same reason that he finds it difficult to trust her. He still tries to tell himself that the reason he helped save her life is because he didn't want to be in a position where he would owe her for healing him, and that he only comes to visit her at the lake to make sure that his spells are holding up, but he is gradually, begrudgingly coming to admit to himself that that's not entirely true and he's almost beginning to consider her a friend.

OFFENDER: KOLTIRA DEATHWEAVER
VIOLATION: EXCESSIVE BROODING
▪▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ |
Koltira is rapidly becoming Artemis' role model, which really just sounds like a horrible plan to everyone everywhere, but there you go.
Even if he is now fully aware that Koltira is not fey at all, he still very much fits the ideal of what an Unseelie Sidhe should aspire to be-- which means that he intimidates the hell out of Artemis, but that's actually a good thing in some ways, since it means that Artemis is more likely to behave himself when Koltira is around.
What has really made an impression upon Artemis is that even though Koltira fits many of the things that Artemis is supposed to aspire to be, he is still trying to be a good person. He has shown much more kindness than Artemis ever would have expected upon first meeting him. What really stands out is that Koltira is trying to prevent his violent instincts from controlling him and making him hurt the people around him, which isn't something that Artemis has encountered often. It is something that Koltira shares with Artemis' father, however, and that's one of the few people who Artemis has a healthy relationship with.
Also, you can forget about him being put off by your undeadness. Really, if you just leave that freaky sword of yours a couple miles away, there's nothing to make him all that uncomfortable about being around you. B|
OFFENDER: MARTIN DARKOV
VIOLATION: BEING EXCESSIVELY ADORABLE
▪▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ |
OFFENDER: MEENAH PEIXES
VIOLATION: AGAIN WITH THE FISH.
▪▪▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ |
Artemis is rapidly taking a liking to Meenah. Violence is very much ingrained in his society, so he's not put off by it in the slightest-- rather, it just makes him identify with her. He also gravitates toward non-humans in general, even if she is very different from the trolls that he's used to (ie the Norse flavour). He has to put active effort into understanding her at times (because as much as he presents himself as thoroughly modern, he's still a product of the Victorian age) but he finds it hilarious that other people are so confused by her.
Basically he would not mind adopting her and violently killing things while snarking at people.
